Introduction
Wylet Fraysser is a member of Duchy Von Drachenklaue and The Company of Dagon Hall, and Squire to Sir Giles William Trout. A relatively new member of the SCA, Wylet arrived at her first heavy list practice on March 22 of 2023, and has been found there almost every Wednesday since! Interested in anything the society has to offer (though especially violence), she is a second-generation seamstress with a passion for fibercrafts of all sorts, an artist with submissions in the book of traceable heraldic art, and crafter of of any material she believes she can bend to her will.
Co-founder of the Innsmouth heavy list practice in Salem, MA with Giles William Trout, she has been doing her best to bolster the ranks of the East by encouraging new fighters to get in armor since January of 2025!
Mundanely she is a software engineer with a particular obsession with open source software, self hosted websites, and creative commons art and technology!

Persona
Wylet Fraysser is the daughter of a seamstress and a carpenter employed by a noble house in the 16th century Scottish lowlands. She is of upper-middle class, though still works for her wages.
She can trace her heritage to a mysterious 11th century Brythonic warrior by the name of Brythael. Little is known about her ancestor, except for fragments of family tales of her far travels, and ancient heirlooms alluding to her training as a fighter under the remnants of the Varangian Guard. Captivated by the tales of ancient heroism, and wanting a taste of that glory herself, she now sets out in secret to join tournament lists under the assumed name "John Reardon", even going as far as to become the squire to a master at arms within the household she was employed at as a seamstress.
Literate, and proficient in sewing, mathematics, and science, she officially earns her income as a craftswoman, though her suspiciously independent lifestyle supporting her artist husband is secretly supplemented by her wages earned in the lists.

Wylet is pronounced wī′lĕt, or "why-let"!
Advance notice would be appreciated, if only to ensure that I'm actually there! Trickery and misdirection is encouraged if you're willing to make sure I'm at the event and in the right place when I need to be.
Anything bright and colorful, or with an octopus is my favorite!
Please notify Giles William Trout, or another member of Haus Dagon.
