The Worshipful Company of Their Majesties’ Underwear recognizes that it’s not just what’s on the surface, but what’s underneath that counts. Beauty comes from within, as you well know. Too much emphasis is placed on superficial bling, and not on the importance of strong foundation (garments). We are dedicated to provide for the day-to-day and event-to-event needs of our royals, who need our support (garments) in order to look good, feel comfortable, and have enough clothes to wear without hiring a laundry service.
In truth, there is an unmet need even within as generous a Kingdom as we have. Few people think about providing shirts, braies, chemises, coifs, etc to the royals, who are at events most weekends, rain or shine, in sleet or snow or blistering heat. These are easy garments to make, they are rarely due on a hard deadline, and they are really quite important. We hope you’ll donate some sewing time to the Company!
