Welcome to EastKingdomWiki! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the [Help:Contents help pages]. Again, welcome and have fun! Wolffauer (talk) 16:03, 11 April 2018 (EDT)

Howdy! I'll look into gadgets and wikEd. In general, so long as they don't make extra work for us or open us up to other issues we are pretty free with what features we add to the wiki. For the edits, yeah, I'm trying to keep the template pretty clean and the format the of the pages similar. Beyond that, any sections you want to add to your page are fine. When creating pages for others, do what you can to discourage the creation of awards list (that's what the OP and OPID are for). Oh, and if you need to rename a page in the future, you can use the Move tab at the top of the page. --Wolffauer (talk) 12:15, 12 April 2018 (EDT)

Using Move will retain the page history and can provide a redirect for the old name as well. The templates will still need to be updated by hand (and feel free to do so if you see they need it - no need to ask me). As for editing other people's pages - we try to only do so with their permission. Definitely for content, less of an issue for formatting fixes. (I already edited Eldritch's page :) ) Most folks don't use the talk pages, so when making a change to someone's page just putting your note in the Summary is good enough. Changes to non-populace pages can be freely made by anyone. One thing I do ask from folks doing a lot of editing - use the Show Preview button. I have to review every change made to the wiki, so folks who save and tweak, and save and tweak, etc. create a lot of changes for me to look at. --Wolffauer (talk) 12:46, 12 April 2018 (EDT)

WikEd has been added. You can enable it via your preferences. --Wolffauer (talk) 13:00, 12 April 2018 (EDT)

A few of the templates (Populace & Households) are locked down, but only because folks were accidentally editing them (trying to turn the template into their page). --Wolffauer (talk) 13:37, 12 April 2018 (EDT)
