More Information
Living on the border between the Province of Malagentia and the Barony of Endewearde, I have enjoyed many activities and made many friends in both. Over time I helped to establish a population base in my local area and became a founding member of the Shire of Hadchester. I served many years as Hadchester's knight marshal and then several as its Seneschal.
Since A.S. XLV I have shared my life and home with my lovely wife Lady Sara of Stonley and her children. She inspires me every day in all that I do. We met doing medieval dance and have enjoyed teaching dance to the local populace together. We also enjoy participating on the thrown weapons range.
My first activity in the Society was heavy list combat and I have continued with it ever since. I attended practices most often in Malagentia until we began holding them in Hadchester. I became a man-at-arms to Sven Svenson, along with Ivan Ulricson. In A.S. XXXI Ivan was Knighted and, because Sven had semi-retired, I became Ivan's first squire.
Wanting to encourage our local fighters, in A.S. XLIX my lady and I sponsored and ran the Tourney on a Summer's Day, an event where we gathered the local chivalry to observe the unbelted fighters in challenges chosen by the knights. We hoped this event would inspire others to run tourneys as well to allow unbelted fighters to demonstrate their prowess and entertain the populace.
