Duchess Caoilfhionn inghean Fhaoláin (pronounced KEE-lin IN-yen FAY-lin) has been a member of the society since November, 2001

She served as Empress of the East beside her husband, Syr Brennan mac Fearghus, Emperor by right of arms.

Persona

4th century Irish in the time of the Roman Empire. Caoilfhionn was the niece of a clan chief who sought help from the Romans that had occupied their neighbors in Britain. In exchange for military assistance against enemy clans, the chief sent some clansmen across the Irish Sea to the Roman outposts in Britain. Caoilfhionn was sent off as part of this deal and married off to the second son of one of the noble/upper class families.
