Introduction

Séamas Mac Gabhann (go-win) sometimes also known as Bruin is a resident of the Shire of Mountain Freehold, and a burgeoning crafter with a focus on blacksmithing. First introduced to the SCA in 2023 at Panthervale's Twelfth Night, where he fell in love with the group and atmosphere.

Persona

Born in what would become Dublin to a blacksmith and Tailor around mid 10th century spent his formative life learning to smith from his father. In his freetime he would hunt in the woods with the local forester and was taught some basic forestry skills. When he became an adult he decided to go on an adventure and joined a longship that had docked in Dublin and had need of his skills. After many moons and many mishaps he decided to settle down in the trading town of Birka as a nail maker. One night, many seasons later, in a drunken stupor he decided to go on another adventure. So he stole a ship and started sailing… directly into a storm, where his ship was capsized and he was knocked out when he awoke he was in the knowne worlde being cared for by lady Guðrún and lord Tomas where he helped with what menial labor he could to pay off the debt he felt to the couple. He stayed with them until he could build his own forge and abode. It's in Mountain Freehold where he still resides.

In Case of Court

Please do your utmost to make sure I do NOT find out I am being called into court. Please, suprise me. In case of court contact Lady Guðrún and Lord Tomas of the Shire of Mountain Freehold. They will make sure I go where I need to.

In the event of a scroll: Sèamas loves natural colours such as dark greens and browns, as well as the "fire" colours like deep reds and bright yellows. He also has a preference for gold over silver. He loves bears, his favorite craft is blacksmithing, he also likes celtic knots.
