Introduction

Roland of Blois, first entered into the service of Baron Adhemar de Villarquemada in early 2009 after many months of training with a sword and shield. Upon his passing in 2015, Roland took a leave of absence from the SCA until 100 minutes war in 2021.

Persona

Roland (he/him) is from the 14th century Loire Valley within France. he trained to be a heavy fighter under the tutelage of Duke Balfar and Sir Osgkar within Dragonship Haven before moving to the Barony of Carolingia, and then to Stonemarche where he currently resides. The Swarmed man persona was adopted nearly at the start of his life when he was swarmed by bees, while the original story has been all but lost to the ages, the "stings" felt by him on the battlefield are enough to keep the bards talking of his deeds.
