Introduction
Baron Muirgius mac Griogair (Formerly called Fearghus mac Griogair) joined the SCA in 2010. His interests include rope making, researching nautical traditions, period cooking, and plaid.
Persona
Born in 1578, Muirgius is a sailing wine merchant with family ties in Brittany and Scotland formed prior to the dissolution of the Auld Alliance in 1560. In order to protect his father's fame should he be caught during a less savory kind of acquisition, he is known by his mother's surname, mac Griogair.
