The Shire of Lyndhaven has been once known as the "hinge" shire in the Crown Principality of Tir Mara. Located between the shire of Avonmore and the barony of Havre des Glaces, and beside the shire of Smithwick in the Northern Region. Lyndhaven is a physically large shire, taking almost three hours to drive from the Avonmore border to Smithwick (Northern Region), and over four hours to drive from the southern city of Saint John to the edge of Havre des Glaces. Our population is mostly found within and around the communities of Woodstock, Fredericton, and Saint John.
Overview
Meaning: The Linden Tree was adopted as our shire's tree to shelter the populace when our stately Elms started dying from a mysterious illness.
Established: August 1991 (However, the first meeting for the shire took place in September of 1986)
Blazon: Argent, three bendlets wavy azure and overall a laurel wreath vert.

For many years, it was the main event of the region, bringing many people from near and far.
