Introduction

I'll paraphrase what many have been said before, "The SCA isn't a hobby, its a collection of hobbies." I came into the SCA as an archer and quickly added rapier to my interests and it came to be my passion as I grew in the Society. I've dabbled in some of the arts and sciences but truly love embroidery and blacksmithing. There's nothing like making something with your hands. I've grown in the thrown weapons community as well and they have been some of the most welcoming people I've ever met. There is one thing I can say that bonds my SCA interests, "If its a sharp pointy thing I can put in another thing (or make that sharp pointy thing), I'm interested."
