Introduction
"Uncle Li" lives in the (now dormant) Canton of Aschehyrst within the Barony of Carolingia in the East Kingdom. He is an honorary citizen of Ruantallan. He has been active in the SCA since the early 1980's, and has attended each Pennsic War from 15 (1986) to 47 (2018) and a couple since. Li is married to Baroness Ygraine of Kellswood.
Persona
Li is the son of a Chinese official and a Turkoman slave. He has a very involved story which explains how he was forced to leave his homeland and came to serve a nobleman in 12th century France.
Interests
Li's predominant SCA activities are:
- Archery -- he has achieved Ludicrous Archer status using both crossbow and handbow, and has coached several archers to champions team level; he is an effective teacher of fletching, and he exorcises the demons from crossbows
- Military History
- Music -- he is a well-known bard, and has done some audio recording of SCA musicians
