Introduction

• Leurona Winterborne (aka Laurie) is a heavy list fighter of the Northern Army residing in the Shire of Quintavia, but her heart will always belong to the more northern Province of Malagentia.

• She began fighting immediately following Pennsic XL and is squired to Sir Matthew D'Arden. In singles combat great sword is her weapon of choice, but will fight sword and buckler if challenged. In melee it is the glaive and spear that are preferred. She owns a couple of shields, but they are purely decorative.

• Leurona can regularly be found at the PAL melee practices with her husband and travel companion Sir Ketilfastr Thorkilson at her side who she will gleefully "take out" should they find themselves on opposite sides of the melee field.

• She is a founding member of the household called Ironhearth.

Persona

Roman in summer and Norse in winter: A 13th century Englishwoman lost in time.

Interests beyond fighting include hand sewing, embroidery, and archery.
