Given by the Sovereign to those who maintain a high standard of authenticity in their dress, behavior, persona, and goods, in the feast hall, in their encampments, and on the field. Established March 16, A.S. 25 by Rhys and Elaina, revised September 22 A.S. 53, 2018, by Brennan III and Caoilfhionn III; renamed July 14 A.S. 54, 2019, by Ozurr and Fortune.
The Sovereign's Order of Excellence was established March 16 A.S. 25, 1991, by Rhys and Elaina, and may be awarded by the Sovereign to such gentles as They deem worthy by reason of their consistent efforts to maintain a high standard of authenticity in their dress, behavior, personae, and goods; in the feast hall, in their encampments, and on the field of honor.
The Companions of this Order will be bound, insofar as they are able, to maintain the standards of authenticity which entitled them to induction into the Order.
The Sovereign’s Order of Excellence includes all gentles who previously received the King’s Order of Excellence and the Order of Excellence.
