Welcome to my East Kingdom Wiki page!

I was introduced to the SCA in the mid 90s when I was attending the University of Guelph and was enamored with the idea of recreating history. Fast forward to 2012, this was when I dove back into the local community within Ruantallan. Over the years, I have taken on a wide range of roles within the organization, including scribe, autocrat (event steward), herald, youth officer, and chatelaine, and I am currently beginning my term as Blue Alaunt Herald for the Kingdom of Tir Mara. My favorite thing about the SCA is meeting new folk who attend our weekly fight practices or when they come to our events. I so enjoy chatting with them, asking them what brought them to us and if there was anything of particular interest so I can introduce them to other gentles with similar pursuits. I think mentorship is hugely important to our game and it is the thing that keeps me invested in the society. The SCA has grown to be a significant part of my life and the friendships I have made continue to have a positive impact on me and my family.

Persona

Lady Juliote de Castlenau D'Arry (Lady Lilou for short) is married to very busy lord who is away most of the year managing his family's plot of pastille. She hails from the Langedoc region of southern France in the middle of the 15th century.

Her absent husband has a lucrative contract with the lords of the area for pastille and therefore has a few coins for her to spend in town. Lady Lilou enjoys the finer things and may, at times, exceed her husband's patience with her management of the household finances. She also works with the local Forester group with preparation of documents for the lords of the area.
