Introduction
Ja'far was introduce to the SCA in 2020 when his good friend Sa’id brought him to a fighting practice. He then met his mentor and friend Hakan. The intensity of the fighting and the warm welcome that he received instantly captivated him. Ja'far had found his calling.
Persona
The son of another man sent to die under the ruthless sun of Egypt, Ja'far does not remember much of his home world. His father had died on the battlefield and Ja'far found himself alone in the unforgiven desert. When the Mamluks found him, he had collapse nearby a stream he never reached and the vultures were circling above. Ja'far was then captured and taken into slavery.
Taken to the Cairo, Ja'far grew close to another boy of his age; Sa'id Al-Nasir. The two of them were put under the tutoring of Hakan Al-Bashir and, together, they trained as warriors with swords and shields. The three boys were very fond of each other and grew up together as brothers.
Under the guidance of his dear mentor and friend Hakan, Ja'far learned how to write and read Arabic. He studied the Koran and learned to live by the Furûsiyya and Asabiyya. The sharpness of mind of the young boy did not go unnoticed either, and Ja'far was taught in mathematics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
The boy eventually grew into a man and a warrior. Ja'far is a relentless fighter that lives for the battle. He is a proud member of the Al-Karakal Household and a defender of the Egyptian Sultanate.
