Introduction
This is the second generation of the "Modern Viking" House Death Sword. Now rebranded as Haus Dauðhjor in the old Norse. We are an intentional community that explores the realms of the SCA, Renaissance Faires, Historical Reenactment, & Pagan festivals. Our members include, but not limited to; artisans, servants, soothsayers & warriors.
History
Founded as House Death Sword in the 1990's in the Kingdom of Trimaris (Trysel), by Master William Draco (Vilhjalmr Draca). House Deathsword was a sub-house of House Arachnid under Lord Spider. The house grew and shrank over 15 years in Trimaris. The Lord and Lady moved to An Tir in 2010, and became near defunct. Master Draco passed away in 2023. With the blessing of (lady) Hyndla, ekkja to Master Draco, the Haus passed ownership to his Lordship Leo Leo MacCullan, the last of his students. Lord Leo MacCullan did a persona change to honor his fallen master, and became Half-Thane Leo Dracosson. He rebranded House Death Sword as Haus Dauðhjor and is rebuilding the house in the East Kingdom since 2023. Haus Dauðhjor is now a sub-house of Duchy Von Drachenklaue, with it's parent/sponsoring house being Clan MacWard.

- The Hirð: The hirð is the community of the haus. Representing the hearth, they are the core group that makes everything possible. They run the camp, help with meals, and all the needed aspects of the haus to run properly and smoothly.
- The Háseti: The fighting force of Haus Dauðhjor is the háseti. Consisting of all members of the House that contribute in a martial aspect. Armored, archery (combat & target), equestrian, fencing, thrown weapons and siege. The háseti generally fights in Northern Army’s 1st Division, with Duchy Von Drackenclaue (VDK).
- The Félagi: The Félagi are the constant friends of the haus who support, bring aid and fight with us during battles. They can be member’s partners, camp followers or friends that come and go.
- Aesta: Aesta's are petitioners to the Haus
