Introduction
This is a local group within the East Kingdom Foresters Guild in the Barony of Stonemarche, spearheaded by
Brian of Centre Downe and Alric the Younger. Its members can be found engaged in many forester activities, encouraging people to practice and learn their skills. There have been group garbed hikes to appreciate the many trails the local Barony has to offer and practice plant identification and forage skills. There have been group camping gatherings where members practice fire starting skills and fire safety, cook over the fire, practice at the archery range, or work on many of the forester craft skills.
History
The group was chartered with a letter temporary by Brian of Centre Downe and Alric the Younger at Endewearde Hunt in 12 October AS 54 (2019). Brian took on the role of the guild's first keeper and Alric the younger as the first Chronicler. Brian held many gatherings at Centre Downe, offering a space for practicing skills, teaching, and companionship with fellow foresters. Brian and Alric encouraged many new members to join at the Centre Downe gatherings and SCA events.
At Endewearde Hunt AS 58 (2023), The Court of the Royal Forest of Stonemarche was granted its Regional Charter officially, no longer operating upon a letter temporary.
