Introduction
Diamond's first introduction to the SCA was wenching in the 2013 Tyger & Bucket (the year where all the wenches were redheads). Her next event was GNE 2014, and from then on she knew that the SCA would be home. After being just a common folk for 10 years, Diamond decided that 2023 would be her time to get fully involved as much as possible. At GNEW 2024, she was introduced as Lady Diamond Stone (name accepted as of Nov 5 2024) as she received her AoA (and an amazing skull scroll by the ever wonderful Colette D'Avignon).
Her interests fall mostly in the fiber arts (spinning, weaving) and learning how to cook of the times. She's starting to dabble in the world of Calligraphy and is looking forward to seeing where that leads.
Persona
Still working on this one. In the research done, the name Diamond is early 16th century English. From there, still need to figure out what life would have been like. (Personally I am a fibre artist, so I'd like to see what fiber artists were like in the early Renaissance, between spinning and weaving)

In Case of Court
Should she ever be lucky enough to receive an award, she would love for it to be a surprise, but won't be mad if she finds out sooner (gives her a chance to dress properly). To contact someone directly, anyone in the Raven's Refuge House would be ideal (Lydia, Aurelia, Octavia, Sulicena, or Muirgel.)
Her AoA scroll has a gothy (black, skulls, gothic font) to it, so anything in that realm, or of the fiber realm, would be fabulous. But also, up to the artist who's creating the piece. She trusts the artist's work/vision.
More Information
She's going to try and keep up with a blog. Feel free to follow here if you would like to see what's she's up to in the fiber arts (and now calligraphy) world.
