Introduction

I started playing in the SCA in 1988 in the Canton of Bowman's Rest, East Kingdom when I was 27. I was brought in by Lord David McDougalls who brought me to my first event... Kings & Queens Archery Tournament. As my archery teacher, he had me shooting royal rounds that day. I had made myself a dress for that first event that I still have. He invited me to join his household, Rivendell.

My second event was a week long Pennsic. I camped with Silver-Riven-Were-Weasal and had the time of my life. I watched Bjorn (weresheep) and Lucan (silver dragons) fight on the field and watched someone be knighted.

It was magical. I met house Toddington and heard tales of Tygart's Teeth. I was introduced to Kings and Queens while I shot archery alongside them. David made me his sister-in-law and took me to the coronation of Randal and Katherine.

Within that first year, I was asked to take on the role of exchequer. Which I did gladly. The next summer I received my AoA from Ronald II and Bronwyn II at K&Q Archery Tourney for it. My early years were filled with events at Rivendell. I gave birth to 3 boys and raised them in the SCA.

As time moved on, I went to play up north with Malengentia and west to Concordia of the Snows. I longed to do more so I joined the chirurgeonate. After 3 years of that I was promoted Central Region Chirurgeon serving the kingdom that I had grown to love. Even as the chirurgeonate moved to guild status, I am still the central region officer. During this time, I took on the role of Central Region Exchequer

I continued to sew garb over the decades and teach others how to sew them. I have sewn garb from many different periods finally settling on late Tudor. My next project is a full Tudor gown with overdress.

Time moved on again and I am back in CT playing with Barony Beyond the Mountain. I am now learning embroidery.

Persona

Cordelia is a welsh woman who married a Scotsman, Cedric McDougalls, and moved to the highlands with him to be near his older brother David. David, being a hermit,somehow seemed to draw a large group of people to him. This was the start of his household. Over the years she gave birth to 3 sons and raised them in the keep that she called home. As the men were always off to war, she and the other womenfolk stood guard and protected the keep. Hence why she is good at archery and not so much embroidery.

After 20 years, her husband and his brother failed to come home from war. Her sons were grown so there really wasn't any reason to keep the Keep. With her youngest son in tow, she traveled to France where she met her current Husband, Marc du Briere. the three of them moved to England to be close to her family and she finally got around to learning embroidery.
