Introduction

Cailte (he/him) started sporadically in the SCA the Spring of '04 and began playing more actively '09. Interests include woodworking, metalworking, researching ancient Ireland, heavy list melee (though essentially forcibly retired due to chronic pain & health concerns), leatherworking, and occasional shenanigans. Cailte avoids using his mundane name as much as possible, in fact it's significantly easier to find him & info on him using his SCA name or some variation of Cailte MacScandal.

Persona

Living towards the end of the 4th century, Cailte often would go on raiding parties into Britannia. When not relieving Romans of their burdens Cailte spends his time attempting to improve his proficiency at several crafting trades. As time & stiffness crept into his joints his focus shifted more & more to the creative pursuits. Allegations of alleged cattle relocation have never been substantiated. In A.S. 52 he was given a court baroncy by Empress Honig I & Emperor Ioaness I. He prefers using the title Righ Tuatha (roughly pronounced ree twa-ha) when the formalities require as it's the "SCA approved equivalent" to Baron for early period Irish.
