Introduction
The Shire of Bois Ardent has been founded in 1992. It later became a Canton of the Barony of Havre des Glaces until 2007, when the group was closed and re-opened as a shire again. The group was finally granted full status on Sept. 5, 2010.
The Shire of Bois Ardent has a strong focus on A&S as a consequence of the members' interests.
