Birla Smallhands has been part of the SCA since she was 8 years old. She started as a Youth fighter, and may eventually become a Heavy fighter along side her parents Ntisa Knarrarbringa and Talen Wristbiter.
Birla is a member of Gleipnirvirki, and is in the Order of the Gawain and Order of the Tyger's Cub.
Hailing from Västergötland, Sweden, Birla Smallhands is a ferocious fighter with a heart of gold. She learned fighting early in her life as she and her mother Ntisa Farstrider fled their home which was full of strife, danger, and misery. They struck out on their own, never looking back.
Birla has traveled many hides through many lands protecting those in danger, helping those in need, and smiting those who offend. She is wise beyond her years; whether in business, personal observations, or life experience.
She has begun studying the healing arts in addition to the fighting arts. She has surrounded herself with family and close friends- understanding the value of both of these. You may find her travelling in any place at any time; marshaling youth combat, assisting an MOL during heavy combat, setting up encampments, haggling for wares, teaching a youth fighting techniques, or laughing with mirth with her friends.
She is a fierce Helga Ball player with speed and strength that belies her small stature and youth. She is difficult to catch if she has the cabbage, and harder to shake off of you if you have it.
Her early life forged her into a shield of strength to those in need and a polearm of might against those who would harm others, with a joy for life and appreciation of family and friends.
