Introduction

Aureliana is the daughter of gem merchants to the Byzantine Royal Court, living in Constantinople around 550. Her family is vast, extending all the way to Golconda, India through marriage giving way to long swaths of travel and trade. Aureliana is trained in the family business (gem trade), but works through intermediaries to prevent dispute and backlash from traders that would otherwise not deal among women.

When Aureliana is not working with her family’s gem business, she can be found brewing, working in the fiber arts, hosting feasts, and traveling with her band of Forest Protectorates!
