Introduction
Señor Aracibo Salgado is a transplant from the Barony of Calafia, in The Kingdom of Caid. He is affectionately known by many in Caid as either Hector or by his stage name Silenus of Mycenae. He spent over a decade attending SCA events going only by his mundane name, and another decade as Silenus of Mycenae. A sobriquet he maintains as a stage persona.
Aracibo is a bard, socialite, and carouser who loves poetry, storytelling, and making new friends. He is currently a resident of the Shire of Caer Adamant.

The son of a Spaniard and a Taino woman (Caribbean Arawak), born in the town of Arecibo in 1560, a mestizo who left Borique (Puerto Rico) to pursue his dreams as a sailor, actor, singer, playwright, and poet. He spent some time serving as a deckhand on an English freebooter vessel. Eventually he decided to retire from sailing and become a full time stagehand and actor in Iberia. For a time he drifted from theater to theater and then became involved with a circle of Courtesans. These ladies provided Arasibo with opportunities to be a handsome escort and bed warmer for powerful men. With the funds from his various Patrons he opened his own theater company, La Caverna Ursa. The theater has recently gained patronage from the Spanish Crown for their spectacular play: The Golden Flower, a colorful comedy based on a Taino folktale. After a successful initial season, Aracibo left the company to take role as playwright and performer for the Spanish Court.
