Introduction
Amalberga de Scriver is a native of Concordia of the Snows and began participating in Society activities in January A.S. 57.
Persona
Amalberga has not given extensive details about herself yet, but she apparently hails from the Low Countries during some time after 1450; the worst of the Black Death has passed, the Hundred Years War has ended, the Protestant Reformation has yet to shake the Continent and the Netherlands are going through their own sort of proto-Renaissance amidst the turmoil of the late Burgundian and early Hapsburg rule in the area.
Amalberga (named after the Flemmish virgin saint and somehow resolutely unmarried or otherwise partnered herself) is from the burgher class and received primary and secondary schooling through the services of the Brethren of the Common Life, a lay order which promoted education for both boys and girls in the name of religious service. She is plainly intelligent and strives to remain a studious reader and writer in the face of the demands of life; she loves cooking, singing, storytelling and whatever craft or subject is pulling her interest the most at any given moment.

In Case of Court
Pronunciation: Am-al-ber-gha. The 'g' in Dutch is that back of the throat 'h' sound (listen to the text-to-speech in Google Translate) but given I struggle with that, I won't dock points for it as long as the rest is right (and I have heard so many versions since I started trying it out, it's apparently more difficult than it looks).
Device/badge: The distinction isn't blazonable, but the bird design is intended to be a "Brewer's blackbird" - yellow eye and iridescent head feathers where feasable.
