Thegn Alexander Makcristyne

Currently resides in Berks County Pa. and plays with the Shire of Hartshorn-Dale

I have been in and out of the SCA for 26 years. I came in as an unpaid member when I was 16. I took a small break as I entered the Army and was deployed for a year, but came back after I returned to the states. This was short lived because of a broken back. Once I healed and moved back to PA I started again, but due to my service injuries I could not take up heavy combat anymore. I explored and found a new love in Thrown Weapons, shortly after that Archery, and fencing, which I became a marshal for all three. On the softer side of the SCA I took up officer position as a Shire's Thrown Weapons Marshal. Later after most of Berks county broke away from Eisental I was the first Seneschal of Incpt. Shire of Archers Ford, unfortunaetly this Incpt. folded shortly after I stepped down. My art is one that many enjoy very much, I have a talent for creating booze! Anything, almost, of the liquid libation I have created, both period and non-Period alike. I am currently doubled belt to my Mistress Her Excellency Mistress Micheal Almond de Champagne.

I am currently a late 7th century Sutton Hoo Anglo-Saxon. I have always dabbled in this time frame, but until a few Pennsics ago did I nail it down the exact time frame and culture I wanted.

More Information

Founder of the Household known as Clan Conall, a service based house. Abbot of the Abbey of St. Aegir, a Brewing household. Protapp under Her Excellency Mistress Micheal Almond de Champagne, who recently just moved to Atlantia. I hold Thrown Weapons for the Physically challenged class every year at Pennsic. To go with the class at Pennsic I also run a tournament for Physically challenged.
