Introduction
I am Lady Alesia de Maris of Ravenstar, a late 12th Century Norman lady. I joined the SCA just after Pennsic 14 in the Barony (then Shire) of Smoking Rocks (Southeastern Massachusetts). I currently live in the Barony of Bhakail(Philadelphia area) in the East Kingdom.
Persona
I am interested in weaving, sewing, heraldry and kumihimo. I am learning how to weave on an inkle loom and I usually bring my kumihimo disc and my latest project to events. I like having an easily portable activity to do at events.
I also make banners. We put a lot of thought into designing a device to represent who we are and I like to see that displayed. Banners add color and ambiance to our events.
