Introduction

Lord Alaric Godricson has been a faithful member of the East Kingdom since 2006, and can often be seen fighting or taking his leisure with a book in camp. Alaric was squired to Syr Arturus, known as Arlof of Aranmore, at the Great Northeastern War in 2007. He is an early period persona; a fourth century Goth. However, he can also be seen in 14th century armor on occasion, such as at a Deed of Arms at Great Northeastern War. His greatest achievement to date is, without question, being married to Mistress Lucie Lovegood of Ramesgate.

Persona

• Alaric is a Goth born in the region of Dacia in 365 C.E. In his youth, he first fought under Fritigern at the Battle of Adrianople in 378 C.E. Later, he would travel west to seek his fortune serving as a Roman federate, fighting against Roman traitor and fellow barbarian alike. Alaric would fight and serve among the federates until about 409 C.E. and the anti-Germanic pogroms following the death of the celebrated General Stilicho. These massacres would drive him back into the Gothic Armies in opposition of Rome by the year 410. C.E.
