Introduction

Barão Dom Coelho do Buraco. Introduced to the SCA in 1999 and after a slow start, dove in head first. It took me several years to find my calling: cooking and building things, mostly cooking.

Persona

Born in 1530 to a minor fidalgo from the village of Tagarro in the Barony of Cercal, Coelho, at an early age, was sent off to the Monastery at Alcobaça for tutelage in all the arts; he found himself always drawn to the kitchens and cavorting with the traveling minstrels and bards (rascals that the are). These travelers in time brought back spices from the Discoveries. Intrigued, he sailed the trade routes to learn the culinary ways of the savage peoples, except Castille, amaldiçoá-los.
