Introduction

Cristovau Vasquez joined the SCA in AS XXVIII in the Barony of Carolingia, and soon joined and became a regular feature in i Sebastiani, the greatest Commedia del Arte troupe in the Entire world. He has performed with the Carolingian Jongleurs, Baron's Troupe of Mummers, and occasionally performed individual songs and poems. Within the society he has been awarded for his poetry, singing, acting, and directing. He remains apprenticed to Gwendolyn of Middlemarch, and has been named in this tutelage as "The useless apprentice."

Persona

Cristovau Vasquez was born in Portugal in 1569. When Philip II of Spain was crowned Philip I of Portugal, Cristovau fled his homeland and joined a troupe of traveling Italian players. He wandered through most of Europe attending many courts and festivals as a performer and has received some prestige as a competent fool.
