Tyger Clerk of the Signet
The Tyger Clerk of the Signet is the head of the East Kingdom College of Scribes. In this role, the Signet is responsible for the promotion of scribal arts throughout the East Kingdom, inclusive of but not limited to the assignment and coordination of award documents (called scrolls) produced for Kingdom Courts. These scrolls are requested by the Crown through the Signet Office for production; the Signet then assigns the scrolls to volunteer artists (generally referred to as scribes) who are registered with the College of Scribes for the purpose of handmade creation of their work in various forms of artistic media, to be later turned in at a Royal Progress (RP or HP) and given out in Court by the Crown or its representatives to individual recipients at the whim of the Royalty.
In addition, the Signet provides direct or indirect educational support to all scribes throughout the Kingdom, including through: The Signet themselves, the individual Deputies within the Signet Office Staff, through events, classes, and activities; through promotion of individual classes held both inside and outside the East Kingdom, through local, Regional and Kingdom scriptoriums; through published and digital media such as the East Kingdom Scribes Handbook, and through the promotion of many other publications and events both online and offline related to the scribal arts.
While the Office of the Signet does not oversee the creation of scrolls for Baronial or local award documents, the Signet Office and its Staff does offer its support and resources to all scribes across the Kingdom (inclusive of local scribes) and to all others who would seek to share their knowledge and interest in the scribal arts with their fellow artisans. For more information on the College of Scribes, the Office of the Signet, and the Signet Office Staff, or for more useful information on the scribal arts, please follow the link

In the East Kingdom, the Tyger Clerk of the Signet is a Greater Officer and inquiries regarding scrolls should be sent directly to the Tyger Clerk at email@example.com (contact).
If you have a question about an award that has already been given, but a scroll was not provided or was somehow damaged, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org (contact) to speak with the East Kingdom Backlog Deputy.
All gentles who wish to create scrolls for the Kingdom should first contact the Tyger Clerk of the Signet, adhere to the Policies of the Tyger Clerk of the Signet (below), and be familiar with the East Kingdom Scribes Handbook. If you have never done a scroll or words for an East Kingdom scroll before but would like to, please contact the New Scribes Deputy at email@example.com (contact) and also fill out the application at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16rI0Ulu-fCu3xdUAK4NF7FnawmtQN_KPjXDgzm80qrM/viewform?edit_requested=true
Please note that the Tyger Clerk emails scribes in the College of Scribes directly with assignments (the lead scribe receiving each scroll assignment will choose whether or not to include any additional participants in their scrolls, including authors, and will notify the Tyger Clerk of any inclusions); if you have been contacted by someone other than the Tyger Clerk to complete a Kingdom scroll assignment for the East, please speak to the Tyger Clerk before proceeding.
