Introduction

Techan MacGothraidh (pronounced: teh - KANE mack-GOE-regg) is a resident of the Barony of Endewearde and a member of house Gamol Gat. He is an archer, a warranted archery marshal of the East Kingdom, and an active scribe. He also dabbles in heavy combat where he is a member of Endewearde's North Tower Infantry company. And he occasionally dabbles in music. He has written a few filks, and plays the bodhran and the doumbek.

Persona

Techan's persona is that of an 8th century Irishman.

Note: the name MacGothraidh (meaning son of Gothraidh) comes from his father Master Godric of Hamtun, whose name, in early Irish's closest approximation, would be "Gothraidh".
