The Southern Region Army includes any and all forces that hail from the Southern Region. This includes a number of smaller units, each usually formed from a household or local group.

Among those who fight under the banner of the Southern Army are the following groups:

Two commanders for the Southern Army, one for rattan and one for rapier, are usually chosen each year at or around 100 Minutes War to serve as commanders for the following spring and summer active seasons.
