Lady Shoshana had been an avid gamer and LARPer for many a year before seeking out the Shire of Caer Adamant in 2005. She had crossed paths with many members of the Society prior to this, and had attended a few A&S nights in her youth, but had never found the time to pursue the new Hobby. Since that time, She and her husband Alexi Gensel have been active participants.

Shoshana delights in learning new crafts and assisting at events above most other activities in the SCA, but also enjoys putting on armour and participating in Heavy Fighting when she is able. Her first Pennsic Battlefield was in 43, after being Authorized by King Brennan mac Fearghus and Ryouko'jin of the Ironskies that Spring. It was a great honor for her to have both friends and family from outside the SCA there to witness the exciting day.

In the last few years, Shoshana has become enamored of Illumination and Calligraphy. Her goal is to one day create a book from scratch using the techniques that she is learning in The Society. Over the years, she has taken up pewter casting, banner painting, a small amount of hand sewing, as well as an assortment of additional crafts. She considers herself a Craft Nomad, and has set up a craft journal under that name to keep track of her forays into the arts.

Shoshana is currently not pursuing a persona.
Her Fighting Persona is generic Viking, only because she can't decide on a time and style to fall utterly in love with over all others.
At all other times she is usually found in either Viking, Turkish or Anglo Saxon garb.
