Persona

Born near the end of winter in 1528 of dubious lineage outside of Tours, Pierre took a place-name as his surname, staying mostly in central France until his fifteenth year. Because of his prediliction of removing Inquisitors, he found it necessary to find lodgings beyond the reach of the Church, first migrating south by crewing aboard a "heavily armed merchant," then finally settling years later in Elizabeth's England.

Periodically he finds a certain comfort by returning to the Continent and continuing to offer alternative retirement opportunities to Inquisitors by thinning their ranks.
