I am Lady Matilda Fossoway, apprentice to Mistress Clothilde von der Insel

Persona

I am the daughter of a traveling fabric merchant. We came from Scotland and traveled to England. Where I saw many different ways the ladies wear their clothes. With the ends of fabric I would try and replicate what I saw. We traveled to Italy I found a wealthy husband. I lived with him for many years, sadly he passed away at an early age leaving me with his riches, I am able to travel the world. I enjoy making what I see on my travels.

Beaded Roses are one of my Favorite things to make. I have had the privilege to make some for a few Queens. Duchess Kiena Stewart, was given a bouquet of Blue and White rose. they are the colour of Tir Mara. Countess Fortune Sancte Keyne I made White rose for her Crouwn tournament. each has a woven silk band which my friend Mairghread Huntley (molly) and Her majesty Margarita de Siena I had the great pleasure to make Purple with Gold single roses, a Blue and White bouquet. and a special bouquetwhich had her favorite flower Daisies. they all had silk bands made by Mairghread Huntley.
