Introduction

Hello! My name is Lady Mariota of Kildare. I joined the SCA in 1996 while attending the University of Prince Edward Island. The Cantref of Ynys y Gwaed was my home until the end of 1999 when I left for the Shire of Lyndhaven, to join my lord and get married.

Persona

Lady Mariota of Kildare was born in the county of Kildare in Ireland in the year 1461. She is Anglo-Irish, living in the Pale. There are rumours that my father was the FitzGerald, but I won't substantiate any such claims here.
