Introduction
Maistresse Mariette de Bretagne. I found the SCA when I stumbled into a fight practice on the quad at Rutgers many moons ago. I've been lurking about the Shire of Rusted Woodlands more or less ever since, even though I presently reside in the wilds of central Pennsylvania.
Persona
Mariette is a 14th century Frenchwoman, though she frequently dresses up in the saris brought back from India for her by her merchant father (or Japanese when she's presenting her art, or Viking if it's Birka... really, it's anyone's guess what you'll find me in.)

Preferred Titles, Pronunciation, and Pronouns
Maistresse Mariette, if you're feeling formal, but please feel free to just call me Mariette (but NOT Marietta; the last syllable in my name should sound like get or let. )
I use she/her/hers pronouns.
More Information
As a scribe, I aim to create award documents that the recipient's persona may have actually encountered in their period, tailoring wording specifically to them as much as possible. Because of this approach, I have done Viking rune tablets, Japanese hanging scrolls, and various European styles.
A selection of some of my scrolls can be found at http://mariettedebretagne.blogspot.com/
In Case of Court
Please contact Harun al-Njam al-Shirazi and Kasumi no Tanaka, they will know my schedule best.
Should a peerage ever be a consideration, a writ would be greatly appreciated.
