Introduction

Lady Mallaidh of Huntley (possibly to be Mairghread Huntley, when her name is passed) attended her first SCA event in the Florida Keys in 1996 after overhearing "You mean the King and Queen are actually going to make it?!" That piqued her interest and opened her to a vibrant old world. As interested as she was, it took a number of years of life getting in the way before a group of close friends, most of which she'd known since middle school, dragged her to the Great Northeaster War (A.S. XXXIV). For a number of years, GNEW was her only event, that is until she and Aloysius came together (A.S. XLIII), and they turned their hobby into something much more. Hallaidh has since discovered shooting the crossbow and tablet weaving. While her garb might not be up to par, she weaves so much that people are learning to recognize her by the top of her head.

Mallhaid earned the Order of the Silver Brooch at GNEW 30 for her tablet weaving.
