Introduction
I have known of the Society and been occasionally floating around its edges since I was a teenager, in the (sixties? and) seventies in and around NYC, but I only formally joined in early 2015, with the "default" Society name Mark of Bhakail.
Name
My paternal grandfather came to the US before WW I, from a village in what was then the Austro-Hungarian Empire and is now in Hungary. So, while I am still working on a persona and full name, I am changing my Society given name to Márkus, the Hungarian form of Mark, attested in 1560 according to the Society's Heraldry website.
(2015.03.09) I have not yet registered the name — I'm waiting till I've got a complete name — and similarly my wiki account is still "Mark of Bhakail". But as a moderately experienced Wikipedia editor, I am redirecting my "Mark..." pages to "Márkus...".
