Introduction
Katheryn was introduced to the SCA in 1999. Her friends had discovered a Household called Thunder and knew she would just love it. She had been to many Renn Fairs and always felt a bit like she had been born in the wrong century. When she traveled as a perspective of Thunder to my first event, Birka, she fell utterly in love.
Persona
Kathryn Foxburrow is the daughter of an English textile merchant. At 14, she was fostering at the monastery on the Isle of Kent and was abducted by Norsemen raiders and taken back as a slave. Many years later, after earning her freedom, she meet and married a local man named Hunn, though it did not last and they eventually divorced. As the daughter of a textile merchant, she learned much about fabrics and sewing, and was in Kent to study embroidery and stitch craft. She often employees her knowledges together, and is also known around the village as a helpful friend who's always willing to keep an eye out for children and those in need. She learned basic reading and writing from the monks and later runic writing in her adopted village.
