Introduction

Varju was introduced to the SCA in the Winter of 1999, making her first appearance at Birka. She knocked around the society for many years being useful and washing a lot of dishes. Then Edward won Crown.

Persona

Katarzyna Gwozdz was born in the year 1566 in the area of Mielec in the very south of Poland. She's very much influenced by the flourishing industry of the area, and has many diverse interests. These include but are not limited to agriculture, metal and wood working. She served the Court at the pleasure of Edward and Marguerite. Along the she way met many wonderful and talented people from all over the East Kingdom. It was under their reign that she took up arms, and has been participating at the lists ever since.

-Katarzyna Gwozdz, better known as Varju to her friends, is a petty noble who grew up in a heavily German influenced area of Poland, circa 1515. Sent abroad by her family to gain stronger ties to allies, she found herself lured away and adopted into Clann O'Choda, where she decided stay. <br>
-Just as this decision was made, however, she received notice that a dear friend was in need of her services in England. She embarked on an adventure to the court of Edward and Marguerite, where she met many lovely and talented people. She maintains her close bonds to her fellow O'Chodains.
