Introduction

My name is Lady Kassir Ni Deoraine, of Concordia of the Snows. I have been in the SCA for over 20 years. I have been a chancellor of minors for most of it, working with generations of children on concepts of honor, art and service. I have watched several generations of children grow to adult in the SCA, and admire the adults they have become. I have served at Pennsic on a mental health team called the bleeding hearts with the EMT’s. I have studied the art of hair and worked with it both as a service, to make a person suffering from an illness more comfortable, or a coronet fit better, or a lady feel prettier. I work both with period materials with hair, and some modern supplies as well. I have worked with Viking, roman, Italian, English styles of hair. Short, long, simple, complex, veils, extensions. It is truly fun. I have also been a retainer several different peers in many different capacities. I am fascitiated with service and keeping service people running.

Persona

My name traces back to 5th century Irish, from the eastern side of Ireland. Several centuries later a nun Kassir founded the sanuary that Saint Francis resided at.

In dress I move around through the times, mostly working with clothing that is easy to serve in, is flattering, and not difficult to replicate.

In nature, I suspect I remain ever your humble servant.
