Introduction

Lady Jehannette Bouchart (they/them, but “Lady” remains the correct title for now) was born into the SCA, but has forged their own path in the intervening 22 years. They are of Settmour Swamp, but they currently reside in the Shire of Quintavia.

Persona

Born in the 12th year of the reign of King Charles the Victorious, Jehannette Bouchart is the only child of a wealthy Burgundian merchant, and though she was born a girl, she was taught to read, write, and do basic math in order to take over her father’s business, should she not marry. Though she was educated for practical reasons, she enjoys using that education to read what books are available to her. She does not often accompany her father on his travels (though the frequency has increased with her age), but she enjoyed regularly visiting her aunt in Orleans, prior to her aunt’s death.
