Introduction

Lord Jacobus Jager Dracke has been in the SCA, on and off, since 1985. He started out in the West at an incipient shire in Glencoe CA, even though he officially lived in rural PA (due to an extended stay for a family situation). He returned to PA in late in 1985 (after which the shire dissolved) and became inactive until 1988. Then he helped start an incipient shire in Indiana PA, and remained active until 1992 (after which the shire dissolved). Inactive until 2001, by which point he had moved into the Barony of Carolingia (Boston MA area), where he remains today. Active from 2001, until 2009. During this time, he was on the Queen's Guard during the second reign of Brion and Anna. Many of his favorite memories in the SCA where from that time. He was active again from 2014 to 2016, inactive for 2017, and active again from 2018 until today.

He is primarily a fencer, but also has interests in cannons, musketry, and other uses of black powder, but also late Renaissance alchemy, esoteric studies, period astronomy, and how they developed into modern Science.
