For Sunnifa

Written by Toki Redbeard for Sunnifa Heinreksdottir
Words of Wessex | are wound around music |
the song of the sinew sailing forth | from a verse-ship |
steered by a cop who stands | midst lore-wind |
for the love of words | and love of her people. |
Now Sunnifa the scholar surveys | the list-field. |
Near the holm she stands | strong for Haakon, |
The breaker of walls | who bears her favor |
on a quest to carry | the crown to her hands, |
make his consort the princess | on account of her honor, |
her quiet humility | and caring manner; |
kindness to all. | That would be a great queen. |
