Emony first discovered the SCA in 1993 at the University of New Hampshire. She participated for a year under the name Caitlin Gordon, then withdrew into Mundania. After starting a family (and naming her oldest daughter Caitlin), she returned to the SCA in 1999 with the name Temair of Stonemarche. She participated for a few more years before life occurred and she withdrew to Mundania again, appearing only sporadically between 2004 and 2019.
