Introduction

I am Lady Elspeth of Ruthven (Elz-peth of Rivv-en), also known as Elspeth of the Waytes. Although I currently reside in the Barony of the Bridge, I am active in the Barony of Carolingia as a member of the Waytes and as a member of the Order of the Moon. My areas of interest include music, herbal craft, and needlework.

Persona

Living at the tail end of the fifteenth century, Elspeth is the daughter of a successful Scottish cloth merchant and the eldest daughter of an equally successful French cloth merchant. As a product of the strong alliance between France and Scotland, Elspeth spent much of her childhood in France and is fluent in French. While in Scotland, she lives in her father's manor on the River Spey, at the heart of a vibrant trading town.
