I am an avid embroiderer. My current primary interest is blackwork, but I dabble in gold work (both laid and underside couching), free embroidery, drawn thread work, and canvas work. I am currently teaching myself applique and I am very excited to see how it goes.

I also do tablet weaving, where my favorite designs are lettering in double-face weave.

I picked up spinning last year and have become obsessed. My current weirdest experiments have been with linen, cat hair, and milk fibers (individually, not all on the same spindle ;) ).

I also do viking wire weaving, which I absolutely adore.

My long term goal is to start with raw wool and make a period dress, but that will have to wait until I get a larger loom.

I am a huge supporter of the rapier crew The Handsome Boys Modeling Academy and am so proud of their accomplishments at Pennsic 42!
