Introduction
I've been in the SCA forever, since I was in college in 1989. I started as a young woman having fun with my friends and I have evolved into an old married woman with 4 children who loves to research 15th and early 16th century things. That is the wonderful thing about the SCA, as I have changed over the years there have been other parts of the SCA that I could explore. I have been awarded with a Laurel for my efforts in 15th century research.
I really enjoy hats of all kinds. I finished my A&S 50 project of 50 cool hats, exploring the evolution of the hood over time and pointy hat evolution.
Right now I am working on investigating counted thread embroidery and working my way through the different embroidery techniques working toward getting rankings in the guild The Keepers of Athena's Thimble.
